Hot Sticks XD Wax Medium
The same quality wax medium as Enkaustikos X-D Wax Medium in a square, versatile stick. This medium has a high concentration of damar resin, providing a harder film that is glossier, more translucent and much more durable than regular wax medium. It can be used as a base coat, topcoat or wax paint extender. It offers a hard, durable surface that can be polished to a glass-like sheen. The extra damar also makes it less flexible so rigid substrates are recommended. It can be melted directly on a hot palette to create a puddle of medium for brush application or can be applied directly on a heated substrate. When applied to a heated substrate, it glides just like lipstick.
